Climate change didn’t kill Australian megafauna

Contrary to previous research, climate change has been found not guilty of causing the mass extinction of giant Australian animals 50,000 years ago.

Researchers at ANU analysed the temperature of the sea surface from the period of the megafaunal extinction and discovered it did not vary in temperature enough to be considered climate change.
