Dinosaurs tormented by lice

Feathered dinosaurs may have been the first animals plagued by lice, an Illinois-based research team has conjectured. By tracing the lice’s evolutionary line, the researchers found the parasite lived long before dinosaurs became extinct 65 million years ago.
