Discrimination rife in Australian workplaces

Have you ever felt discriminated against in your office? You are not alone: 854,000 Australian workers feel discriminated against by their employees, says a study published by Melbourne Institute of Applied Social and Economic Research.

Gender, age, ethnicity, religion and parenting status were found to be common forms of discrimination. Job hunters also felt unfairly treated, especially in relation to age, according to the study.
