Femininity determines success for females in American politics

Women in US politics with more feminine faces tend to be more successful, especially in the conservative states, according to new research.

Using a computer program that links mouse movements to decision-making, researchers found that faces with atypical gender features caused uncertainty among their subjects.

However, gendered features did not appear to play a role in the success of male politicians.
