IVF not effective after fifth round of treatment

There is little chance of pregnancy after the fifth round of IVF treatment, regardless of the woman’s age, a national report has found.

The study authors found that the cumulative live delivery rate did not increase markedly with additional treatments in the sixth cycle of IVF and beyond.
