Lobbying in the US? It’s who you know, not what

New research has quantified the value for US Lobbyists of having friends in high places.

The study found lobbyists' revenue falls by an average of 24% when their former employer leaves government office.

    Sales of weapons and military services exceeded $400bn in 2010. Who are the biggest arms producers and which countries lead the top 100 list?

    Re Why not ban the following ALL conflicts of interests? For Example:-
    1 All Political donations
    2 Ex Politicians & senior Public officials working for Govt Suppliers or contractor's
    3 Politicians and their wives doing ANY business "deals" whilst in office
    4 Personal lobbing...why people they write in with propositions at least initally?

    PS Why are not ALL personal political donations and all donors (Including all Directors & Managers of Companies that donate) IMMEDIATELY available on the web?
