Modelling shows increased flood risk

New findings suggest that Asia and Africa will have higher flood risk over the next 100 years. Risk in areas of Europe is expected to decrease.

This research was the first to use a number of global climate models to make projections about population exposure and flood risk.

According to the study, population exposure to flooding will increase as global temperatures rise.
