Nanotechnologies to improve oral medications

Nanotechnologies can be used to ensure disease-conrolling drugs are absorbed into the body much more effectively than traditional methods, according to new research.

Drugs can be developed with a matrix at the nano-particulate level which imitates the effect of food when in the stomach and intestines.

The researchers hope that the findings will result in a more reliable and effective way of delivering oral mediations.
