New emergency room software helping to save lives

Engineers at Swinburne have developed a software tool that assists staff to reduce the number of human errors made in the emergency room.

The software was trialled at The Alfred Hospital in Melbourne over a 33-month period and found a 21% reduction in the number of human errors.
