Personal best goals improve ADHD student performance

Children with attention deficit hyperactive disorder (ADHD) may do better in education if personal best (PB) goals are implemented.

The positive influence of setting PB goals has been shown in a study involving more than 3,400 Australian high school students.

PB goals helped students focus on their own achievements and increased rates of homework completion and performance. They also encouraged academic engagement.
