Christopher Neff is a Lecturer in Public Policy at the University of Sydney, School of Arts and Social Sciences and Department of Government and International Relations. He received his PhD in 2014 from the University of Sydney focusing on the 'politics of shark attacks.' Christopher also holds a Masters in Public Policy and BA in political science.

Christopher is an American, who previously worked as a non-profit executive in Burlington, Vermont, political consultant and lobbyist in Washington, D.C. and as a staffer in the U.S. Senate for Senator Harry Reid (D-NV) and former Senator John Warner (R-VA).
