Communications Officer, James Cook University

I hold a position as the Science Communications Officer for the Centre for Tropical Biodiversity and Climate Change at James Cook University, and also work as a freelance science and environment writer. I previously completed a PhD on life history in brushtail possums, and undertook a post-doctoral position investigating extinction risk in Wet Tropics vertebrates under climate change.

I am currently based in Adelaide, where I live, hike and write, and homeschool my 6 year-old son.
