Jonathan Law

Mr Jonathan Law is Director of the Minerals Down Under Flagship. Mr Law and the Flagship leadership team aim to ensure that CSIRO becomes the internationally-recognised focal point for exploration, mining, mineral processing and minerals sector sustainability research and development within Australia.

A key role is building stakeholder involvement as a vital step in achieving the Flagship's goals.

Key stakeholders include:

government at the Commonwealth and State levels (particularly the geological survey organisations)
mining companies of all sizes
exploration companies of all sizes
technology services companies in the minerals sector
other relevant research groups
the community.

Ongoing dialogue with stakeholders will identify issues and this will lead to the formulation of research and development plans relevant to future industry direction and community needs.
