Research associate at the Social Policy Research Centre, UNSW Sydney

Philip Hayes joined the Social Policy Research Centre as a Research Associate in September 2010. Before joining the SPRC he was a research assistant at the Rural Economic Research Centre, Teagasc, in Ireland looking at the spatial distribution of disposable income. Philip’s research interests are mainly in the area of applied public economics, focusing on the impact of household sector, tax and social policy on poverty, inequality and work incentives.
