Rachel Buchanan

Rachel Buchanan is the author of Stop Press: the last days of newspapers (Scribe, 2013) and The Parihaka Album: Lest We Forget (Huia, 2010). The press book is based on her work as a newspaper journalist, the Parihaka one grew from her PhD in history, research that examined history-making about a community of non-violent indigenous resisters to colonisation in New Zealand. She was State Library of Victoria creative fellow 2013-14 and created Melbourne Sirius, an artist newspaper.
