Researchers find link between depression and kidney disease

People with depression are at a greater risk of developing kidney failure in later life a ten-year study has found. The researchers examined if depression predicted diseases in which kidneys play a vital role. The results showed that depression coincided with chronic kidney disease and that it was 20 per cent more common in people with kidney disease than people without.
