Seafood allergy now a lead cause of anaphylaxis

Seafood allergies (fish, mollusk, and crustacean) have increased considerably over the past 40 years and are now a leading cause of anaphylaxis in both the United States and Australia. But there is limited published data to assist clinicians to diagnose and manage seafood allergy.
