    As is almost universal in such "studies" (sic) income gets confused with pay rates. If you work longer hours you get paid more and are more likely to be promoted.

    Pay should be based on merit alone, not on sex or some other wishy washy category. Therefore, in some cases men should be paid more, in others women should, & in the rest there should be equal pay. It is therefore sexist to demand equal pay based on sex. Pay must be based on merit alone.

    For example, in physically intensive jobs men should be paid more because they r obviously stronger & so provide higher output. Whilst in electronics industries women r preferred on the assembly lines because…
