I suspect that Bob is correct that doping will never be eradicated. However, if doping up to certain limits is permitted as he appears to be suggesting, I believe that this would merely set a new baseline, and those seeking an unfair advantage would then look for ways of doping beyond this level. So why not stick with zero tolerance? I would hate to think that any athlete needs to dope to a certain level just to reach the start line.
