Drought, drought and more drought is the forecast for the Australian climate unless significant steps are undertaken to reduce greenhouse emissions.
The Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO) and the University of Melbourne have released a report on the future effects of climate change in Australia.
The report was released in Melbourne at the “Four Degrees or More” climate change conference, revealing that southern Australia cold have no snow coverage and up to five times the amount of droughts in years to come.
Researchers send that environmental changes of this stature are avoidable through significant reduce of greenhouse emissions.

Here's what Steven Sherwood had to say about those model projections...a grain of salt indeed!
“Steven Sherwood, an atmospheric physicist and co-director of the Climate Change Research Centre at the University of New South Wales in Sydney, said that while the report, “follows a fairly standard methodology” in summarising the predictions of climate models, the estimates “must be taken with a grain of salt” because of the variability between the 23 models. “They don’t all predict the same outcome, so a large range can sometimes appear – but this probably represents the best we can do at the moment,” he said.”

Roger Pielke doesn't seem to know the difference between climate and weather.
"Hey here are 3 extreme cold weather events. I rest my case." Fail.
