Fish oils may counteract junk food

Regular intake of fish oils may slow the negative effects of junk food on the brain, research at the University of Liverpool has shown.

Analysis of 185 papers from around the world suggested that regular intake of Omega 3s interferes with the production of molecules that interfere with nerve growth.

The study did not establish a direct link between fish oils and weight loss, but recommended them as a “positive step forward for anybody looking to improve their general health.”
