A new species of ferret-badger has been found in central Vietnam.
The new species, Melogale cucphuongensis, differs from previously known ferret-badgers in the shape of the skull.
An individual Melogale cucphuongensis had been found prior to this discovery in 2006, but died before it could be properly classified.
