Abby Jones

My research is focused on working with mass mortality events to determine the potential effects on the ecosystem. I am interested in changes in the soil - specifically microbe and arthropod (mite) communities as well as the variation in physical and chemical soil properties. My research also has a focus on the forensic and decomposition aspects including observing the differences in necrophagous insects communities and decay rates.
