Abdoul-Aziz Saïdou

Abdoul-Aziz Saïdou is a researcher working on the genetic diversity of Sahelian crops, using transdisciplinary and collaborative approach with diverse scientific disciplines and farmers organizations. He leads a decentralized breeding programme for the development of cowpea varieties adapted to agroecological local contexts, in collaboration with academic partners and farmers organizations in Sahelian countries (Niger, Burkina Faso). He contributes to the training of young researchers and students interested by diversity study and participatory appoach.
