Professor of Political Theory & Head of the School of Social and Political Sciences, University of Melbourne

Adrian is Professor of Political Theory and has been Head of the School of Social and Political Sciences since 2007. He received his PhD from Queen’s University Belfast in 1993 and joined Melbourne from Goldsmiths College, University of London in 2004. He is a former President of the Australian Political Studies Association (2011-2012).

Adrian is currently a Chief Investigator on an ARC Discovery Project entitled ‘Resistance, Recognition, and Reconciliation in Australia – Lessons from South Africa and Northern Ireland’.
