I am an Executive Editor of Environment magazine. I am a former chair of the Environmental Studies Program and before that, chair of the Science, Technology, and Society Program, all at The New School. For twenty years, I was president of the Scientists' Institute for Public Information, a bridge between the scientific and media communities.
