Alana Lentin

Dr Alana Lentin joined the School of Humanities and Communication Arts in Cultural and Social Analysis in June 2012 after six years in the Department of Sociology at the University of Sussex, UK.

She works on the critical theorization of race, racism and multiculturalism. She is the author of The Crises of Multiculturalism (with Gavan Titley 2011), Racism and Sociology (with Wulf D. Hund 2014), Racism (2008) and Racism & Anti-Racism in Europe (2004).

She is the current President of the Australian Critical Race & Whiteness Association.
