Alex is a Ph.D. student at the University of Tennessee where he is majoring in Advertising. Alex graduated from East Tennessee State University with a Bachelor’s in Advertising/Public Relations and a Master’s in Strategic Communication. After working in the advertising industry, he began researching at the University of Tennessee where his primary research focus is on advertising’s role in influencing new media and emerging technologies and the privacy issues stemming from that influence.
