Alexeis is Professor of Digital Business and Society at Aston Business School, Aston University. He is Visiting Professor at the Centre for Business in Society, Coventry University, and Visiting Research Scholar at Georgetown University.

Alexeis's original background in computer science was complemented by a PhD in information systems from Cranfield University. A socio-technical understanding of information systems has enabled Alexeis to focus on the wider challenges of data, information and knowledge management in organisations and society. He has collaborated extensively with key industry players on data-driven innovation initiatives.
