Alish Palmos

I am a current Postdoctoral Research Associate at King’s College London’s Social, Genetic and Developmental Psychiatry (SGDP) Centre. My work uses a combination of computational genetics, next generation sequencing and functional genomics in the context of psychiatric disorders, to understand the underlying biology behind the genetic associations discovered using genome-wide association studies. In addition, my work focuses on how the environment can interact with genetics to result in a given phenotype.
