Research Associate - Aboriginal Mental Health, Curtin University

Amanda Sibosado is a mum and proud Baard and Wardandi women from Western Australia with over 15 years’ experience working in Aboriginal sexual health across metro, regional and remote communities. Amanda’s career previously focused on working with Aboriginal people and Communities to address the sensitive topic of sexual health. She now brings that experience, her health promotion knowledge and community development approach to the co-design of mental health services through her work as Research Associate on Our Journey Our Story within the School of Allied Health at Curtin University.

Amanda's undergraduate degree was in Indigenous Community Management and Development followed by a Graduate Diploma in Public Health. Amanda is currently in the process of applying to do her PhD which explore Aboriginal youth health service access.
