Associate Professor of Philosophy, San José State University

I am professor of philosophy. I work primarily in the areas of epistemology, philosophy of mind, critical thinking, and social justice. My approach to philosophy is to seek understanding and to present to the non-academic public an understanding of a problem in the human condition, which is analyzed through cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary philosophy. As a philosopher I seek to synthesize information about a phenomenon, such as human knowledge and consciousness, by joining together perspectives from different cultures and different disciplines.
