Research Fellow in History, Scuola Normale Superiore di Pisa

I am Research Fellow in History at Scuola Normale Superiore in Pisa, Italy. I also received my Ph.D. from Scuola Normale Superiore.
During my career, I have been been visiting scholar in Italian Studies and European History at Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris, Harvard University, and Cornell University, and research fellow at the Luigi Einaudi Foundation in Turin in 2011-2012.
In 2011, I was awarded the Christopher Seton-Watson Memorial Prize by the Association for the Study of Modern Italy.
I extensively studied post-WWII Italian political system and institutions, focusing on political parties and families and their relationships with intellectuals and media. I am currently working on the history of higher education policies in the Twentieth century.
I regularly write for the Italian online newspaper GliStatiGenerali.com.
