Andrew is a Post-Doctoral Research Associate at Newcastle University.

He is an interdisciplinary researcher with an interest in anthropogenic (human) impacts on the marine environment. Specifically, Andrew's work considers the effects of fisheries, offshore construction and tourism activities and draws on a range of methods associated with species life-history, socio-economics and bioacoustics (including passive acoustic monitoring).

Andrew has a particular interest in tropical marine megafauna (marine mammals, sharks, rays, large bony fishes and sea turtles).
