Andrew Thomson

Currently I am a photovoltaic (PV) solar researcher at the Australian National University, where I manage a small research team working on PV module design and material testing. I am an electrical engineer by training, having completed a bachelor of engineering at the University of Canterbury, Christchurch, New Zealand. I have 9 years PV research experience. On areas including: crystalline cell silicon degradation, PV cell passivation, module degradation, and module optimisation. This research experience includes the completion of my Ph.D which was awarded in 2010.
