Adjunct Senior Lecturer, La Trobe University

Angela Evans (PhD) is an adjunct senior lecturer at La Trobe University, clinician in Adelaide, volunteer research lead with Walk for Life Clubfoot in Bangladesh, consultant to Global Clubfoot Initiative, visiting professor at University of Barcelona. Dr Evans has many journal publications, book chapters, and authored a textbook, a monograph series, and Cochrane library systematic reviews. Currently, Guest Editor for International Journal of Environmental Research and Public Health [https://www.mdpi.com/journal/ijerph/special_issues/_insight_into_paediatric_foot_condition].

Dr Evans' current research interests focus on the paediatric clubfoot, and flat foot. Further works include: paediatric leg ('growing') pain, climate change and sustainable healthcare (Green Podiatry). Dr Evans' main interest is the nexus between research and clinical practice, so that best available evidence is translated as evidence based patient care, avoiding unnecessary treatment.
