Angie Bexley

Angie Bexley is the Deputy Director of the Children's Policy and Centre and Senior Research Fellow at the Poverty and Inequality Centre.

Fluent in Indonesian, Angie has conducted extensive fieldwork in Indonesia and Timor-Leste on issues of youth, gender and social inclusion. Angie's research into understanding marginalised people's experiences and perspectives aims to contribute new methodological approaches and formulate effective and meaningful policy responses to poverty and social exclusion.She has managed large-scale social inclusion programs and provides advice to a range of government and non government agencies in Indonesia and Timor-Leste.
