Dr. Anna Bogic holds a PhD in Women’s Studies and a Master's degree in Translation Studies from the University of Ottawa, as well as the undergraduate degrees in International Relations and French from the University of Calgary. As the Research Centre Coordinator, Anna manages academic event organization, provides support for research grants, contributes to research projects, and oversees the Centre's day-to-day operations and communication. Prior to joining the Centre on Governance, she worked for the Press Office at the Embassy of France in Ottawa and for the Joint Chair in Women’s Studies at Carleton University and the University of Ottawa. She has also worked in academic affairs and administration for the Department of Law and Legal Studies at Carleton University and has more than ten years of experience in freelance translation. Anna has taught undergraduate courses at the University of Ottawa and published in the areas of women’s reproductive health, feminist theory, postsocialist studies, and translation studies. Anna is also a Research Associate with the University of Ottawa's Institute for Feminist and Gender Studies.
