I am an Honorary Research Fellow at the University of Western Australia. I completed my DPhil in Modern Languages at the University of Oxford in March 2015. My thesis focused on poetry and national identity in Scotland and Cyprus. I am currently working on a range of research projects, including:
-the representation of difference in Greek popular culture (focusing on television series),
-contemporary literature and cultural authority,
-and interactions between dominant and minority cultures in the realm of 'high' literature, focusing on Indigenous Australian writers of Western Australia.
