Professor of Print and Digital Cultures, Cardiff University

Anthony Mandal is Director of the Centre for Editorial and Intertextual Research at Cardiff University. His research interests focus on 19th-century fiction, the gothic, print culture, book history and digital humanities. He is also one of the General Editors of the New Edinburgh Edition of the Works of Robert Louis Stevenson, which is being issued by Edinburgh University Press from April 2013 onwards. Since 1997, he has been the founding editor of the online journal Romantic Textualities: Literature and Print Culture, 1780–1840.
