Tony Martin joined the University of Dundee from the British Antarctic survey in 2010. A marine mammal and seabird biologist for many years, he took a sabbatical from research to accept a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to lead a conservation project of potential global significance on magnificent South Georgia.
