Asel Sartbaeva

I am a Material Scientist, based in Chemistry at Bath. My research is focused on development of novel porous silica materials and thermal stability of pharmaceuticals. I have worked comfortably in Physics, Biophysics, Mineralogy and am based in Chemistry now.
Apart from my research, I also teach, primarily courses in Physical Chemistry and Crystallography.
I also do school outreach, and mainly work with primary school kids, by developing novel science activities specifically aimed at engaging kids between 3 and 7.
