Audrey Rousse-Malpat

Assistant Professor of language learning at the program European Languages and Cultures, University of Groningen

dr. Audrey Rousse-Malpat is assistant professor in language learning at the program of European Languages and Cultures at the university of Groningen (the Netherlands). She received her doctoral degree in 2019 on the effectiveness of Structure-Based versus Dynamic Usage-Based approaches in foreign language teaching. She is also a teacher trainer at Project Frans, specialized in usage-based inspired L2 pedagogy for French. In 2021, she started a podcast called Je suis #profdeFLE, in which she talks in French with experts on topics related to language teaching and learning and how insights from research can be applied in the classroom. Her latest research projects focus on multilingualism in the classroom in higher education and the development of learner's autonomy.
