Research Associate, Faculty of Education, University of Cambridge

Ayesha is working as a Research Associate on the Oracy Project, developing and trialling a formative assessment toolkit for teachers to use to assess children's spoken language in the classroom. Ayesha has been working in the field of educational assessment since 1997, first at Cambridge Assessment, and then as a freelance consultant. Her main areas of interest are the validity of assessment and improving the quality of exam questions and mark schemes.
