PhD Research Student, The Open University

I work in the National Health Service, United Kingdom as a Biomedical Scientist and currently studying for my doctorate degree. I am supervised at the Open University by a team led by Dr Francesco Crea, an expert in Cancer Genomics. I also have an external supervisory input from Dr Yuzhuo Wang, a Distinguished Scientist at Vancouver Prostate Centre, Canada. My research subject is on the Role of Epigenetic Effectors and non-coding RNAs in Determining Prognosis or Response to Treatment in Prostate Cancer. My research is seeking to elucidate whether long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) are epigenetic drivers of cancer dormancy.
