Barbara Farquharson

Barbara is a Senior Research Fellow, currently funded by a British Heart Foundation NMAHP Career Development Fellowship. Her research relates to the behavioural aspects of health, particularly for people with cardiovascular problems. She has led a number of projects aiming to reduce patient delay with symptoms and increase rates of cardio-pulmonary resucitation (CPR) in the community. She is a Registered Nurse with over 13 years clinical experience in a range of roles, including as a British Heart Foundation community cardiac nurse.
