Benjamin A.T. Graham

Benjamin A.T. Graham is associate professor of international relations at the University of Southern California and the co-founder of the Security and Political Economy (SPEC) Lab. Most recently, he is the author of Investing in the Homeland (2019), which details the role that migrants play in connecting the multinational firms they own and manage to valuable social networks in their homelands. He also conducts research on foreign investment, powersharing institutions, and the (sometimes) pacifying effects of economic interdependence.

Professor Graham has also served as a Special Sworn Researcher at the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis and was a Peace Corps volunteer in Turkmenistan from 2004-2006.
