Dr. Waddell is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado. He holds a Ph.D. in Sociology from the University of New Mexico. Dr. Waddell researches the impact of international migration on human development and crime. He has recent publications in Sociology of Development, Latin American Research Review, and The Social Science Journal. Dr. Waddell teaches in the areas of crime, deviance, international migration, and research methods.
