Senior Scholar (former Director of the Electron Microscope Unit and Professor in the Department of Integrative Biomedical Sciences), University of Cape Town

Trevor Sewell completed his PhD at Birkbeck (London) in 1980 and built a career in Structural Biology at the University of Cape Town which he still serves as a senior scholar, running an active research group studying the mechanism of certain industrial enzymes. He retired as Director of the Electron Microscope Unit at the end of 2019.
