Chemical Engineering PhD, University of the West of Scotland

Having successfully graduated with a Masters in Chemical Engineering, I decided to pursue a PhD in Chemical Engineering with a change in focus compared to my previous studies which were centred towards traditional oil and gas technology. Currently, my PhD research is looking at the production of biofuel from microalgae.

On top of my academic qualifications, I am the founder of the UK tutoring agency, Direct Tutoring Ltd, as well as the founder of the chemical engineering online course, The ChemEng Student. Teaching mathematics and chemistry, has led to securing an associate lecture position at the Unversity of the West of Scotland and acting as a consultant to produce a mathematics course.
